[SDNY] Jesus Wilfredo Encarnacion, a/k/a "Jihadistsoldgier," "Jihadinhear," "Jihadinheart," "Lionofthegood," was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport while attempting to travel to Pakistan to join Lashkar e-Tayyiba (LeT), the terrorist group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Encarnacion confided in a government informant that he was "ready to kill and die in the name of Allah." He also expressed a desire to commit terror attacks in the United States but said he lacked "guidance" and "guns" to do so. Encarnacion pleaded guilty to attempting to provide material support to the LeT. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
